Ute CrossFit bleeds excellence.

I spent this past weekend in Salt Lake City, UT. There is just something so enchanting about that area of the United States. Though it was my first time visiting, I definitely look forward to returning. The people are so welcoming and the scenery is breathtaking. ute cf

While in Utah, I spent some time with the 2012 CrossFit Games Affiliate Cup Champions, Hack’s Pack, of UTE CrossFit. I absolutely fell head over heels for this team and their community. At the end of each day of working, I would call Logan just to rave about my time with them.

Hack’s Pack team is made up of six very distinct, yet awesome-in-their-own-way individuals. They each live their own life, but when they step foot in the gym they not only expect excellence out of themselves but they expect excellence from their teammates, as well. Each individual honestly wants the best for the person standing next to them in a workout, in their career, and in life.

Each teammate has something in their life greater than the sport of fitness, whether it is their kids, a spouse, or a career. However, it is CrossFit that bonds them as a family and displays their character as humans. This team of people leads from the front and it shows in their community. Their community is full of fit people with amazing basic biomechanics, beautiful Olympic lifting habits, and pose running ultra marathoners. Hack’s Pack bleeds exceptional human beings.

Thanks for a remarkable weekend, guys. How about a back-to-back championship season this year?
