A few of our friends have spent the last two weeks in Hawaii competing and soaking up the good vibes at the Pipe Masters. Despite their level of notoriety, our friends participated in The March Against Monsanto the day after the surfing competition came to a close. To me, this shows just how amazing some people can be.
Dustin Barca is an environmental activist. He started The March Against Monsanto last year with only 25 others in Hawaii to tell Monsanto to get out and stop using the Islands as a test tube. Dustin is no stranger to hard work. He was on the ASP World Tour in 2009 before realizing that it wasn’t for him. Then, he moved on to MMA. From all that I’ve heard and read about Dustin Barca, it seems that his passion is fighting for a better environment for our future generations. Pretty solid human.

Heavy Cleans (Practice)

-REST AS NEEDED-
AMRAP 5 min
2 Power Cleans
10 Box Jumps or Step Ups
MODIFICATION
- Cleans are just for practice. If the belly is too big, then practice power cleans with dumb bells or kettle bells. OR, practice front squats from the rack.
- Same with the workout. If the barbell doesn’t work, then use dumb bells.
- Only go as high as you feel comfortable with the box jumps or step-ups.
